Our Downtown Garden Centre Restaurant has for many years offered our customers quality food and beverages and a well-earned rest from their shopping.

Playing a vital part in the day-to-day operation of our Restaurant, we are seeking Café Assistants to work on a part-time basis.

Duties include serving customers, till work, clearing and cleaning tables and using the dishwasher to clean plates, bowls and cutlery, maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness and organisation within a superbly tidy environment. You may also occasionally assist with other tasks such as helping with stock replenishment and barista work where trained and when required.

Ideally, you will already have worked in a similar catering environment however this is not essential. You should be an effective communicator and be able to prioritise tasks effectively.

Hours are 26 or 22.5 hours per week worked on five days a week within store opening times. However, flexibility is key, and you should be available to work occasional varying shift patterns and differing days if required.
