Cranleigh Golf and Country Club consists of a gym, swimming pool, spa. 3 studios, creche and an 18 hole golf course
We are looking for a full time Receptionist to work with the front of house team in delivering first class service to all of our members, visitors and guests.
**The basics of the role....**
- To adhere to Reception standards as set by the Reception Manager.
- To resolve or report any problems or issues regarding the day to day running of the Reception areas.
- To ensure effective communication within the department, and within the building, either verbally, via telecoms or published communication.
- To be aware of, understand and implement any changes to policies or procedures, and any instructions given by fellow staff, the Reception Manager and the General Manager.
- To deal effectively with enquiries and complaints, be aware of the procedures in operation relating to lost property and health & safety, and be able to deal with situations according to the Club's policy.
- To manage booking systems effectively for fitness classes, gym inductions, golf course, golf coaching, crèche, spa and social events.
- To assist with the selling and promotion of various aspects of the company such as membership, theme evenings etc.
- To ensure all calls are dealt with quickly and efficiently, and that the right level of customer service is offered.
- To reconcile the Reception till as required during shift.
- To ensure the presentation of the Reception areas is kept to a high standard, and that all POS material including Club information, is up to date.
- To undertake any duties reasonably requested by the Reception Manager or General Manager.
- To perform the role of the Duty Manager as required.
- To be aware of issues relating to Health and Safety and emergency procedures in the department, and ensure that these are strictly adhered to.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: From £23,795.00 per year
