About the role
The Kite Live Lead is a key contributor to Kite Live, Kite’s curation arm of the business. We pride ourselves on curating events that are both inclusive of different voices and perspectives and embedded in local and global networks to maximise the potential for concrete and lasting action.

The Kite Live Lead will be responsible for implementing an innovative and profitable strategy and approach:

- Producing our co-created conference programmes.
- Building and creating live curation agendas on environmental and social issues.
- Designing novel formats and approaches to bringing people together both in-person and online.
- Building kite's recognition as a sought after and trusted programme curator and growing existing relationships in the conference space.
- Leading and managing the events delivery team.

**Key relationships**:The Kite Live Lead is part of Kite Creators and Connectors group - under CEOs leadership - alongside Research & Thought Leadership, Learning Content and Partnership & Networks. Key relationships include the Chief Clients & Growth Officer).

About You
You have extensive experience in physical and virtual events and building thoughtful agendas to convene people around, in interesting and novel formats, and working with event producers to bring those ideas to life. You have an understanding of social, economic and environmental issues and a familiarity and experience curating events around those issues.

You are client-centric and understand how to build different type of conferences and events, including content, production to serve different purposes and audiences.

You are intelligent, highly organised, with a commercial mind, and a self-starter, with a broad set of skills and experience that enable you to work well in a fast-paced environment that is high-performing, client & impact centric and that pushes boundaries in relation to engagement, actionability and accessibility. Your written and verbal communication skills are excellent. Interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and a willingness to communicate in a direct way but with deep care (Radical Candour) are very important. You need to be good at multitasking and at attention to detail.

Role Specification
The Kite Live Lead
- Supports Kite’s work with clients to curate conferences, webinars and other formats of events creation (including both content and production activities).
- Builds exceptional content and thought-provoking engaging agendas in innovative formats,
- Works with the production team to bring to life Kite’s Live events.
- Looks after the day to day management and nurturing of Kite’s international network of high-profile corporates, journalists, key opinion leaders, academics, activists, policymakers, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and investors.
- Inputs in and participates in the creation of different sustainable and profitable Kite Live commercial models.
- Builds a good connection with and understanding of partners and how to deploy them in an event context alongside the Head of Networks & Partnerships.
- Builds a good connection with and understanding of the research agenda working closely with the Head of Research & Thought Leadership on how to integrate it and use it to inform Kite Live products and delivery.
