**Position Summary**:
The role includes production welding on both Mild and Stainless Steel - 4mm to 30mm to aid in the manufacture of Biomass container / tanker wagons for the energy and power sector. All welds will be undertaken in the standard position with the majority of work being 6/8mm fillet and butt welds.

**Essential Experience**:

- Previous MIG welding experience - Stainless and Mild Steel
- Able to complete all preparation work
- Be able to complete Test bars (codings) to meet the requirements of the role
- Be able to work safely in an industrial environment
- Be able to follow verbal and written work instructions
- Ability to set and use welding equipment
- Must be experienced welder - previous codings being highly advantageous

**Desirable Experience**:

- Previous coded welding experience
- Large industrial welding experience
- Rail / structural / plant repair experience

**Hours**

Monday to thursday 07:15 - 16:00 Friday 07:15 - 15:00

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 13 weeks

**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
