**WHAT TO EXPECT**

To model and develop world class clay models for both Exterior and Interiors through the JLR Design process. It is a very creative role and requires flexibility, forward thinking and an eye for detail. Within the team you will also need to be able to adapt to new technologies being introduced into our Modelling process.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**
- To be creative in the development and delivery of our clay models for customers of clay properties.
- To be supportive of the Lead Modeller on your project.
- Be proactive and supportive of Health and Safety in the Design Studio.
- Attend Design Delivery Programme meetings if required.
- Maintain and strive for the highest quality within your work.
- Report timing and process issues to your Lead Modeller.
- Understand and embrace new technologies to improve our Clay Modelling process.
- Embrace Clay Modelling Code of Conduct
- To support off site clay activities within other JLR Design Studio facilities
- Comply with all company policy and procedures, particularly the Design Studio security.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
- The position requires an enthusiastic self-motivated team player with good leadership skills and who is flexible in their approach to work and capable of assisting to ensure the tasks are achieved against set targets
- This role requires a well-organized person who can liaise with personnel at all levels
- They must be able to work in a team or on their own if required
- They must be highly motivated and be able to interpret written, sketched and verbal instructions given by the Design team
- An understanding of design properties and materials and an awareness of the design studio environment is essential
- They must have the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends to deliver to required timings but it is not anticipated this would be frequent
- A good background and experience of working in an OEM Design Studio
- Hard Modelling skills and Wood Machine Shop trained are essential
- A good understanding and the ability to use 3 axis measuring machines and its supporting software
