Responsible for generating new B2B sales lead and expanding our customer base.
- Will be working through a database of potential customers and cold calling prospective client businesses around the UK asking open questions to understand their needs wants and challenges in relation to our product categories and competitors.
- You will be organising call-back diaries and updating the CRM system.
- Research organizations to find new customers and identify who makes the decisions.
- Find out what a business needs and work with buyers to plan proposals and negotiate best pricing.
- Will spend the majority of your time identifying and qualifying leads before passing them across to sales colleagues - but you also need to be capable of closing the sale whenever the opportunity arises.
- Negotiate with customers and build positive relationships.
- Grow our pipeline of potential sales opportunities and warm leads.
- Attend events and conferences to gain information on market trends and competitors, as required.
- Write reports and make presentations to customers and senior management.
- Forecast sales targets and make sure they are met.

**_Essential Requirements: _**
- Must have a proven track record in Tele Sales or Field sales.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach people at all levels of seniority.
- Ambitious and persistent.
- Self-motivated and enjoy working to targets.
- Articulate, confident communicator with presentation skills.
- Thrive in a pressurized, sales-driven environment.
- Commercial knowledge to analyses market data and identify new opportunities.
- Strong team player, but equally good at taking initiative.
