Yard Supervisor

**Job Description**:

- Position: Yard Supervisor- Location: Leith- Travel: Occasional visits to UK client sites and suppliers- Driving License: Required- Forklift License: Required**Required Skills**:

- Good demonstrable experience with computers and software, including Outlook- Health & Safety experience- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Working Hours: 40-hour work week (8 hours a day, including a 1-hour lunch break)Leave: 30 days, including bank holidays

**Salary**: £30,000 per annum
**Key Areas of Responsibility**:

- Oversee Yard Health & Safety, including training of yard staff in our clients systems and procedures- Distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)- Efficiently manage the loading and unloading of shipping containers- Responsible for picking & packing orders- Coordinate shipping of small orders through UPS- Oversight of the return, inspection, and maintenance of the rental fleet- Manage vans and forklifts: arrange servicing and maintain cleanliness- Oversee the welfare cabin for staff- Conduct quarterly stock takes- Maintain Yard in a tidy and safe manner- Report directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager**Qualifications**:
