We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is positive, engaging, and passionate about the provision of good, quality care. As a Quality Officer with Walsingham Support, you will be part of a supportive and friendly team whose focus is ensuring that the People We Support are receiving the best quality of care.

As a Care Quality Officer, you will be based in the Central and Southern England region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To schedule service visits in advance.
- To complete audit visits and checks within services.
- To provide feedback based on audit outcomes, and to give advice and guidance to the service to help them improve.
- To use Radar and Microsoft Office software for recording.
- To work with the Quality Team to continuously improve.

This role is integral to ensuring independent checks for services to allow senior managers to make informed decisions, and the organisation to respond to risk.

- Ability to be fair and positive when observing evidence, only recording the facts.
- Good travelling skills, including a driver’s license and access to a vehicle for frequent travel. Overnight stays will be an exception.
- Ability to use Radar, or a positive approach to learning new software.
- Good English writing and communication skills.
- Ability to present information to small groups of individuals (support will be provided)
- A keen desire to promote and share good practices within the region and further across the organisation.
- Ability to work as a team and share information and learning.
- Ability to work with more senior managers and represent findings.
- A passion for continuous improvement.
- The drive to seek out events and further learning to support the role, and team.
- Ability to schedule and plan own workload with guidance of line manager. Autonomous working is essential in this role.
