United Living Infrastructure Services supports the design, maintenance & development of critical gas, water and telecoms infrastructure for the UK’s largest network owner/operators. We are a thriving business with a huge pipeline and we are looking for a **Grab Driver **to join our Water business based in Washington, Tyne & Wear.

We have an excellent working culture at United Living and we’re looking for somebody who can add value to the team, not only through your experience and ability but also as someone who will build good working relationships with your colleagues. You will be an experienced Grab Driver with a valid Grab Lorry Loader License in addition to National Water Hygiene registration (EUSR), NRSWA (units 1-4 minimum), EU Skills registration and a CSCS card.

Day to day, you will be accountable for:

- Carrying out safety checks and inspections to vehicles, plant, equipment and sites as instructed
- Following health and hygiene rules, and maintaining excellent levels of health and safety
- Ensuring that work is undertaken with due regard to the environment: preventing contamination to water supplies and water courses; maintaining site cleanliness; preventing spills; minimising disturbance to members of the public; avoiding damage to trees; disposing of waste only as authorised.
- Backfilling of excavations to correct standards and removal of spoil from excavation areas.
- Manhandling materials, plant and equipment
- Installing and maintaining road works to ‘Chapter 8’ standard
- Maintaining safety, environmental and quality records, and reporting any accidents, near misses, faults, damages or defects using appropriate documentation
- Undertake any other reasonable instructions given by management or supervision
