**Commercial Analyst**
The forefront of wind energy development in the UK is looking to recruit a Commercial Analyst or Financial Modeler with experience of working in private equity, commercial banking or investment funds. Experience within the infrastructure, renewable energy orpower sector would be a benefit.
This is a unique opportunity to join a leading business within the sector, offering significant growth potential and an exciting and diverse role. The Commercial Analyst or Financial Modeler will join their expanding Commercial Team reporting to the CommercialDirector, and work closely with their legal, technical and planning teams. The position is permanent, full time and based at their Head Office in Frodsham, Cheshire.
They have over 1GW of renewable energy in their portfolio containing onshore wind farms that are built, under construction and in development. As renewable energy specialists, they are fully experienced in the identification, design, development, constructionand operation of onshore wind energy projects.
**Key Duties**
The daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

- Reviewing acquisition opportunities in the onshore wind and associated power sectors, including valuation modelling and transaction support.
- Energy market analysis including hedging strategy, macroeconomics and policy.
- Tendering, negotiating and completing new commercial contracts including supply and service contracts across the business
- Undertaking Project and corporate finance due diligence and transaction support.
- Ad-hoc job-related tasks as and when requested

**Skills required**:

- ACCA or CIMA Qualified or Part qualified and actively studying to qualify (preferably in final level
- 2 years post-graduate experience in a corporate finance position
- Strong quantitative skills, including extensive experience building financial models
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (written, verbal, aural)
- Good team player, attention to detail and solution focused attitude

Their projects are located in the UK, therefore a valid and clean driving licence is essential to travel to these locations to attend meetings, and carry out site visits.
