Trainee Fabricator

**Job Function**:
Works within our dedicated fabrication bays carrying out daily fabrication and welding duties as required alongside our experienced Technicians. Prepares and sets up equipment before delivery to customers including assembly and pre-delivery inspection.

**Essential Duties**:

- Carries out fabrication and welding repairs as required.
- Assembles, prepares, and checks all types of equipment.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with job assignments.
- Accounts for all time and materials used in performing assigned duties.
- May participate in training required for the development of skills and knowledge.
- Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required in the set-up and delivery process.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Ability to operate vehicles, tools and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes.
- Fundamental fabrication and technical knowledge.
- Valid driver’s license required, and forklift license preferred.
- Ability to read and understand manufacturer’s pre-delivery instructions.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills.
