Production Supervisor
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a very high calibre, hands-on **_Production Supervisor _**to join a truly global leader at their European headquarters in Cambridgeshire. They are at the top of their game in the design, manufacture and distribution of their niche products and this is an exceptional opening for an individual who is quality focused, people oriented and personally driven to achieve standards of excellence in what they do.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of production lines through your Charge Hands / Team Leaders and a team of line operatives ensuring an efficient and productive manufacturing process is in place and maintained that meets demanding customer requirements. It is **_essential_** that you have a track record of success within a hands-on **production management **environment and are a skilled people person with exceptional communication and leadership qualities. You will drive your team through engagement, motivation and enthusiasm in working towards production targets. Whilst you will have a natural ability to bring out the best in each member of your team, you will also have a focus on continuous improvement to identify better ways of working whether that be related to efficiencies, quality, H&S or further training. You will be looking for an opportunity in which you can take ownership.
Additional duties will include managing issues that affect quality and delivery of product, the organisation of workflow and resource planning and the implementation of a robust scheduling and inventory control system. H&S and compliance will also come under your remit.
As Production Supervisor you will have a deep knowledge of **production management**, understand quality standards and H&S regulations, have an ability to report on key production metrics, demonstrate strong attention to detail, possess excellent organisational and leadership skills with a results-driven approach. It will suit an individual that who is highly quality conscious and feels proud to deliver a quality product to their customer base.
