**Location**: Abingdon, Oxford**
**Hours Per Week**:Monday - Friday, 40 Hours**

**Job Type**: Permanent /Full Time**

**The Document Controller** will**:

- Be responsible for all Document Control activities on the UKRI-RAL contract, controlling the flow of all documents relating to the contract
- Maintain project documents, ensuring that accurate information is distributed throughout an organisation, on time, to the people who need it
- Ensure all documentation is uploaded to CEMAR
- Manage and update the Project Board
- Manage the Reactive Maintenance requirements, managing the process through IFS, Total Mobile and Technology Forge. Having regular updates with the client to understand requirements, coordinating with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Multi-Skilled Operatives to ensure the work is carried out efficiently
- Set-up and administer internal management system - SharePoint platform for individual projects.
- Facilitate and coordinate the requests for information with subcontractors
- Request information to close out compliance packages, including the ordering of tests and certificates.
- Contribute to the monthly contractual report where necessary
- Supply information for compilation of the H&S Files, e.g., datasheets and design information
- Set up new projects and maintain SharePoint folders in line with company standards
- Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients
- Manage paper drawings/bulk printing or arrange with reprographics company, as required
- Ensure office is H&S compliant by carry out office H&S checks regularly and that records are kept
- Look after PPE stock and order additional when required
- Manage stationery/consumables, ordering additional items as needed
- Be flexible with secondary support for Operations, Commercial, Quality /other Internal departments.
- Challenge inconsistency and bad practice
- Undertake any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
- Ensuring working practices and behaviours align with team and personal objectives

**About You**:
**Essential Criteria**
- Strong IT skills to include Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrate effective communication and management skills
- Excellent presentation skills

**Desirable** Criteria**
- Proven Document Controller experience
