Better Placed are pleased to be working with a food production company in Manchester and they are looking for a Junior Artworker to join their team

**The Role**:
As the Junior Artworker, you will support the artwork team as they produce digital and print ready artwork across a rage of media. Your prime focus will be creating packaging from templates provided to you by external agencies. You will work to keep artwork consistent and accurate and ensure that you adhere to brand guidelines.
- Responding to daily ad-hoc requests to release artwork or request locations of assets
- Outlining or exporting assets for release based on print or other usage
- Briefing in jobs to Esko
- Adapt existing artwork to alternative die lines, layouts or formats
- Support the marketing team to create designs and artwork form their conception to final sign off, working closely with them throughout the process
- Curate and create corporate designs across a range of formats using Adobe Creative Cloud
- Create visual concepts and retouch images to ensure they meet print and web standards, such as colour typography and image libraries
- Ensure artwork is consistent, accurate and follows any brand guidelines
- Understanding internal and external design specifications

**The Person**:

- A basic knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Microsoft Office skills
- Able to interpret a simple executional brief
- Knowledge of the wider Adobe Suit - desirable
- Knowledge of the Esko artwork management system - desirable
