An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the HR team that provides a range of HR services to NY Highways.

creation, design, delivery and maintenance of accurate reporting systems for
managers and the organisation to use. This will involve the collation, analysis, interpretation and
reporting of workforce data.

The HR Advisor will also provide an advisory service to NY Highways on a range of employment matters. This will include supporting managers to develop their skills,
confidence and competence in handling HR issues through the provision of
professional advice, support and coaching, briefings and training; encouraging
effective people practices across the business.

The post holder will work from the Finkills Way Office at Northallerton. Regular travel across the North Yorkshire county may also be required in order to deliver the service to the operational areas of NY Highways.

The successful post holder will have excellent IT skills, be able to use and manipulate
data from a range of Microsoft Office
packages and HR systems especially, MS Office, ResourceLink, Sharepoint and
data systems such as PowerBi. They will also have significant
experience of managing and advising on a wide range of HR related issues with
mínimal supervision. Experience of
supporting workforce change and/or projects is also required. The post holder will be able to work in a
pressurised environment and be able to manage a busy workload with competing
priorities.
