The role of **Ocean Import Clerk **is working for a Global, **Derby-based**, multimodal Freight Forwarding organisation.

Duties will include:

- Handle Oceanfreight import, FCL and LCL shipments.
- Responsible for the end-to-end import process, from pre-alert through to delivery to final destination.
- Arranging and processing import bookings.
- Processing import documentation.
- Preparing import customs documentation.
- Responsible for billing out and invoicing import files.
- Dealing with customers, keeping them updated and aiming for resolution.
- Liaising with overseas partners and offices.
- Proven experience working within Ocean Imports.
- Experience handling FCL/LCL shipments.
- Experience in customs desirable.
- A strong attention to detail and a willingness to learning.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a customer-focussed environment.
