Nuclear Restoration Services (NRS) is the new brand of Magnox Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). NRS is responsible for decommissioning first generation nuclear power stations Berkeley, Bradwell, Chapelcross, Dungeness A, Hinkley Point A, Hunterston A, Oldbury, Sizewell A, Trawsfynydd and Wylfa, and research sites Harwell and Winfrith. NRS is also responsible for electricity generation at hydroelectric plant Maentwrog. As a division of NRS, Dounreay is responsible for the clean-up and demolition of the former centre of fast reactor research and development.

About the role

- You’ll be responsible for the handling and processing of site documentation, including that related to safety and compliance. The role is vital for the site to maintain its legal and regulatory compliance. A high quality of work is essential to ensure end users can rely on the documentation that is there to help keep them safe._”
**_ The role is based on site at Hinkley Point A Site and the working hours are 07.25 - 17.00 Monday to Thursday, perfect for someone looking for a four-day working week._**
**Key Deliverables**
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Act as a proactive focal point for information across the whole site.
- Effective maintenance of functional databases and effective filing and retrieval systems, where appropriate.
- Demonstrate problem solving capabilities and independent working.
- Be able to identify issues with document quality and highlight appropriately.
- Demonstrate good communication skills in order to liaise with different departments around Site to ensure the efficient handling and processing of our documentation.
- Coach users in the use of document creation, editing and navigation of the management system.
- Provide general administrative support to the team when required.
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Educated to A level or equivalent (essential).
- Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint (essential).
- Experience of providing a wide range of administrative support activities (essential).
- Experience of working in a relevant technical function e.g. engineering, quality, health & safety etc. (desirable).

Please be aware this role holder requires security clearance, or the ability to obtain said clearance.
There is a requirement to live within a commutable distance to the sites where the role is based. For central/multi-site roles, we have various hubs across the UK and can be flexible with base location.
