Care Assistant for a Senior Gentleman 21hrs Weekly

**Elderly gentleman on the outskirts of Barrasford (direct access from A68) requires home care workers to provide 3 x 1hr calls per day (approx. 10am, 1pm and later evening call)
- **
Experience of palliative care preferred**
- **
MUST like dogs, one friendly dog in premises**

**Hours of work**:21hrs per week

**Rates of Pay**: £11.91 per hour

**Location**: Barrasford area

**Main Duties**:

- Support required with all elements of personal care and acitivites of daily living.
- Supporting gentleman up and out of bed, dressing, washing where required, support downstairs, toileting where required, meal and drink support
- Prompt/administer medication where needed.

**Personal specification**:

- Honest, reliable and caring nature.
- Punctual and trustworthy
- Respect confidentiality

**Training**:Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
