We are an ordinary family looking for a part-time housekeeper to work early mornings 07:00 - 10:00 Monday - Friday.

Main duties include cleaning, tidying and organising, dog walking and simple food preparation.

You'll need to be comfortable around people with disabilities, including learning difficulties and confident walking with a big dog. We want someone who is flexible enough to help us with whatever needs doing and is patient and able to just notice what needs to be done and get on with it.

The job is usually Monday - Friday but we do want someone who will occasionally house/dog/young adult sit on an overtime basis. We're looking for someone who will get along with our sons and be willing to spend time with them but we are not looking for a carer and you do not need any special skills or experience - just patience and understanding.

A basic understanding of food hygiene is important but you don't need to be able to cook. The role can be shaped to suit your interests - for example if you do like cooking or gardening you are welcome to do more of that but if you don't that is also fine.

We are a calm and easy-going family who treat people fairly and with respect. We want someone who is interested in a longer-term role and will provide support and help as needed to enable the individual to progress in their career in whatever direction they wish when they are ready to move on.

Role would be on a self-employed basis so the individual would be responsible for their own tax & national insurance arrangements.
