Room Attendant

**Position: Room Attendant**

The Room Attendant is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience. The Room Attendant will assist guests with their requests and will ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and stocked with appropriate items. The Room Attendant will also help organize and maintain the room inventory.

**Essential Functions**:

- Greeting guests, providing a positive experience
- Check in and out of rooms using company computer system
- Respond to guest requests in a professional manner
- Ensure all rooms are cleaned and stocked upon guests return
- Pick up trash from rooms
- Handle cash and credit card transactions on the company computer
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and requirements (especially hotel rooms)

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Strong customer service skills is a must
- Ability to communicate effectively with others including guests, staff, and management
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks effectively
- Ability to withstand being on your feet for long periods of time and be flexible. We are in business for 8 hours, not counting lunch
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
