**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a Trainee School Counsellor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced counsellors and mental health professionals to provide support to our students, helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence and develop the skills they need to thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to gain valuable experience and training in a school environment while working towards becoming a fully qualified counsellor.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide one-on-one and group counselling to students experiencing emotional and mental health challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of well-being workshops and activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counselling sessions.
- Continuously develop your counselling skills and knowledge through training and supervision.
**Requirements**:
- A strong desire to work with young people and support their well-being.
- A compassionate and empathetic nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in a recognized counselling training program.
- A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
