Decorator

Are you an experienced Decorator with practical site experience and / or relevant qualifications? Are you wanting constant without having to work weekends and gaps in jobs?

Our brand new client based in Sheffield is seeking an experienced Decorator to join them on a full time permanent basis 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday. Please not this role is a PAYE permanent position and cannot be considered on a self employed basis.

As Decorator, you will be responsible for painting & decorating (painting, wallpaper hanging, coving and textured features) at client sites, site set, clear down and clean up, purchasing and collection of required construction materials, video recordingof works with audio commentary before work commencement and on completion, daily assessment of allocated work, completing quality checks, obtaining customer satisfaction sign off, keeping company vehicle clean and roadworthy, site health and safety.

The role will cover work in the following locations:

- Halifax, Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, Doncaster, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire therefore it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence.

To be considered for the role of Decorator, you will have 5 years site experience and / or City & Guilds Level 2 Painting & Decorating qualification and two years practical experience. You will have general building industry knowledge, ability to understanddrawings, pc literacy, effective communication skills, working to targets and deadlines, excellent attention to detail.

In return our client will offer a basic salary of £27,040 plus paid travel one way, 28 days paid holiday including statutory holidays, pension scheme, annual performance reviews.
