Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for an Import Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team in Felixstowe. You'll work alongside a friendly and supportive group, where growth and advancement are encouraged. If you have at least 1 year of import experience, a positive attitude, and a drive to develop your skills, we want to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and process customer instructions promptly and accurately.
- Handle customs entries and coordinate freight bookings.
- Prepare precise export documentation and track changes diligently.
- Maintain organized customer files, scanning and uploading necessary documents.
- Arrange destination bookings and liaise with goods in/out at customer sites.
- Ensure on-time deliveries, providing delivery schedule advice based on forecasts.
- Manage haulage bookings with approved carriers.
- Complete CHED-Ps on IPAFF and ensure timely logging of original health certificates.
- Facilitate payments to PH and Shipping Lines as required.
- Log original B/Ls with relevant shipping lines within specified time frames.
- Generate customer invoices when necessary.
- Monitor daily container tracking for vessel and ETA updates.
- Adhere to operational processes and SOPs.
- Complete accurate customs entries based on customer instructions.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in general imports.
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
- Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and driven to excel.
- Proactive problem-solving capabilities.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
- Ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
- Strong team player with a proven track record.
- Excellent time management skills.
