Cadet Coordinator

Lancashire Constabulary’s Lancashire Police Cadets Team - Nelson is seeking a Cadet Coordinator to be based at Nelson.

The purpose of this role is to provide consistency and quality in co-ordinating and delivering Volunteer Police Cadet Schemes for young people across Lancashire, some of whom will be vulnerable, by actively working with the local community, local policing teams and volunteers. To develop the cadet programme to improve the quality of life for young people, reduce vulnerability and make communities more resilient by supporting social action projects and initiatives. Working with partners, educational establishments and community organisations to build relationships, develop alliances and support young people into training, employment and lifelong volunteering. To provide activities for young people aged between 5-18yrs in the community and educational establishments throughout Lancashire ensuring there is an equitable and inclusive approach.
