Due to the continued growth at Spence Accounting and with the introduction of Making Tax Digital we require talented Accounts Clerks. Your day to day duties will include
- Preparation of accounting records for multiple clients.
- Sales Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Bank Reconciliation
- Preparation of VAT returns high level of VAT knowledge is preferred
- Posting journals for wages, depreciation accruals and prepayments
- To deal with queries that may arise by undertaking the work
- The accounts must be prepared to trial balance level

We would prefer for you to have experience in a similar role and have or be working towards your AAT level 3 or 4 qualification.

You must have strong ethics and the ability to work on your own as well as part of the team.
