**Hertfordshire - Remote working position**
Advantage Resourcing are working within partnership with a private-sector group operating in the public interest. An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager initially for a 3 month position to cover leave from a member of staff, there may be opportunitiesfor this to become a longer term assignment.

**The Role**
The role is to ensure the successful transition of newly awarded FM projects.

Produce and maintain a detailed mobilisation and service transition plan for all new projects developed in Microsoft Project.
This will be achieved through working closely with the Bid Team at tender stage, leading the mobilisation phase, seamlessly handing over the project to the Project lead and supporting the Project team during the transition through to steady state. The pointof continuity for mobilisation and service transition management across all newly awarded projects.

**The key objectives of the Transition Manager**:

- Working with the bid team and relevant Operations Director to ensure a credible winning solution.
- Ensure smooth implementation of our services to our new clients and customers.
- Utilising best practice at every opportunity and developing the framework for the way we work.
- Engagement of our supply chain in our customers' needs and required processes.
- Focus on our client's core business drivers and gaining their confidence.
- Developing the management information that adds value now and in the future.
- Setting the commercial foundations to ensure the project's success.
- Effective communication to the project team, clients, customers, supply chain and other FM functions and departments.

Generally reporting into the Operations Director responsible for the project, a key function is to work with the Senior Team and peers in driving continuous improvement into new operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for initiating and leading tasks and processes, taking responsibility and being accountable, where relevant, for the work and roles of others whilst exercising broad autonomy and judgement within broad parameters in their area of responsibility.Specialist learning and involves detailed analysis of a high level of information and knowledge in an area of work or study
- Verify resource allocation, delivery methods and project launch planning.
- Produce and maintain a detailed mobilisation and service transition plan for all new projects developed in Microsoft Project.
- Ensure our clients have a positive impression of VF project management capabilities through being well organised and that we deliver on our promises.
- Ensure all VF processes and systems are fully established in line with VF standards prior to the project going live.
- Ensure an effective Handover from the mobilization phase (post go live) to the Project Lead and Operations Director.
- For a period of circa 3 months post go live support the project team in bedding in the newly established systems.
- Ensure the level of contractual and statutory compliance is measured prior to final handover.
- Work closely with the Operations Director, Project Lead and Human Resources department to ensure effective cultural change of all transferring team members.
- Support the Operations Director in developing the business strategy
