**Purpose of the Role**

**Person Specification**
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- NEBOSH qualification
- Active membership of IOSH
- 5 years experience within the highways industry
- Experience in behavioural based safety, health & wellbeing techniques.
- Confident in delivering toolbox talk and workshops
- Competent in the use of Office 365 suite
- Good communication skills at all levels

**Key Responsibilities**.
- Carry out site inspections/audits to ensure crews are compliant and working safely
- Support and advise on production of construction phase plans, method statements and risk assessments.
- Provide support to site teams, and assistance/advice on corrective and preventative actions.
- Investigate all accidents, and record accurate data for reports to the Senior Management team in a timely manner.
- Undertake Safety inductions for new starters.
- Maintain current/updated knowledge regarding safety, health & environmental legislation.
- Arrange regional safety meetings with project teams and contractors to develop best practice.
- Support pre-construction team with health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Provide training to staff/employers at all levels.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
