**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Bids Writer to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will prepare compelling and competitive bid documents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in writing and business development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in researching and gathering information for bid proposals.
- Draft, edit, and proofread bid documents to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with various departments to collect and organize relevant data.
- Maintain and update bid content libraries and templates.
- Ensure compliance with bid requirements and submission deadlines.
- Support senior writers and managers in developing strategies for winning bids.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Previous experience in a writing or research role is a plus but not required.

Contract length: 9 months

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
