Chaplain

We are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Chaplain to work within the Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. The Chaplain will work within the Multi-Faith Chaplaincy team in supporting the delivery of spiritual, pastoral and religious care to patients, relatives and staff in line with National and local best practice guidelines.

We are looking for an individual who will share in our passion in providing excellent patient experience each and every time. The Chaplain will increase the profile of the Chaplaincy team by having a visible presence around the hospital, facilitating and delivering effective spiritual, religious and pastoral care across our three hospital sites. This will involve participating in the 24/7 hour on call Chaplaincy rota.

As a member of the Patient Experience directorate, the Chaplain will actively contribute to the overall improvement of experience of care by people who use our services.
