**Describe the activity and primary duties being requested**:

- Monitor daily production (doing what they stated they would do)
- Report any major unplanned production stoppages to the Milwaukee team.
- Ensure management communicates planned production stoppages (none identified in the immediate future at this time)
- Review quality checks/measurement of sample parts from setups and changeovers.
- Watch measurement process for any obvious setup issues (program issues, dust on lens/glass, burrs, focal settings)
- Monitor change-over processes (setups and re-setup steps)
- Help disposition any questions the technical team has.
- On-site support would not be expected to be responsible for recommending system/process/factory improvements.

**Describe the ideal skills, experience and qualifications to perform this activity**:

- Must have a minimum of 3-years previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on production control, part statusing and expediting experience required, ideally having previously working in a technical buyer / production management type role, with QC experience.
- Demonstrate knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings, CMM data, digital product definition interpretation
- Demonstrate knowledge of geometric, dimensioning and tolerance
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritise workload, and meet stringent deadlines.
- Good experience in using Excel for status reporting

Product is being transferred to another supplier, as such, the relationship with the supplier is a difficult one, and need someone able to navigate this.
