While our offices are based in Leatherhead, we are currently operating a hybrid working model, with occasional days working in the Leatherhead office for collaborative work.

**The Role**
As a Senior Network and Security Engineer, you will design and maintain network and security components for the business.
Maintaining networking and firewall activity, you will oversee the design and implementation of security solutions to help improve our defence against Cyber incidents. You will respond to network connectivity or wireless communication issues in the office.
As well as performing changes that are business critical outside of core business hours, you will work with third-party service providers to ensure our network services are of the highest standard.
**About You**
To join us as a Senior Network and Security Engineer, you will need:

- A minimum of five years’ experience managing sophisticated, complex computer networks
- At least three years’ experience in network architecture and deployment, including but not limited to VPNs and resilient connectivity
- A minimum of three years’ experience in deploying networks and security appliances and solutions into and around cloud-based architecture
- A minimum of three years’ experience with load balancers
- At a minimum, three years’ experience working with and managing Internet traffic and underlying technologies such as DNS
- Experience working with HP COMWARE switches or Cisco routers and switches
- Experience in networking, design and troubleshooting
- Cloud experience in Azure, or AWS
- Layer 7 firewalls, Vendors include Checkpoint, Juniper, and ideally Palo Alto
- Good communication skills
- Qualified to CCIE level or working towards this
A bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field would be beneficial, as would a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) qualification or similar. Experience working in an enterprise level Microsoft architecture would also be advantageous.
