Nursery Cook

Nursery Cook required 9am-2pm, Monday-Friday, you must be able to cook simple, healthy meals for our children and have a minimum Level 2 in Food Hygiene.

**Nursery Cook Key Duties**
- Cook healthy meals from scratch for our children
- Responsible for cleanliness of the kitchen and food hygiene
- Follow food and dietary requirements of the children
- Order food within budget
- Menu plan healthy meals

**Nursery Cook Requirements**:

- Minimum Level 2 in Food Hygiene and preferably GCSES / Functional skills in Maths and English
- Ability to cook a varied and nutritious menu
- Ability to manage cleanliness of kitchen and keep it tidy
- Be able to write and prepare a 4 week rolling menu ( based on good home cooked food)
- Ability to take initiative and manage a kitchen alone.
- Be able to cook to a budget
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Be a good team player that is adaptable
- Excellent food hygiene practice
- You can get to Ilford easily
