We're the First Vision Design and Consultancy Team with members based in London, Chester, and Cardiff. We sit within the Product Build & Delivery Department which is a multi-disciplined team in Consumer Lending. Our purpose is to support the Helping Britain to Recover strategy via driving and facilitating Consumer Finance change and managing the day to day requirements of the Consumer Credit Cards, Commercial Credit and Charge cards and Islands Currency debit portfolios on First Vision.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to support a portfolio of Credit Card change, providing design advice and guidance across the portfolios.

You'll be working alongside the new Platform Teams including Consumer Lending and Consumer Relationships in Chester and Edinburgh for the delivery of change, plus other teams within Consumer Lending including The Scheme Team, Configuration Management and Products.

Key accountabilities include:
Working with key external third party suppliers to design and deliver the change portfolio, whilst supporting the team working on business as usual activities - Incident, Problem and Process Change.

Supporting the Operational teams with process change, advice and guidance on system usage and customer issues and identify and implement improvements to technical processes and toolsets to improve resource and cost efficiency.

Supporting the LBG culture & vision through visible leadership. Demonstrating support of new ways of working including agile delivery and develop your knowledge and help other SME’s within the team, through stretching performance objectives, feedback and coaching.

Adopting the end customer’s perspective influencing the design, development and implementation of automated and manual business processes relevant to the servicing and management of credit card products, to deliver consistent & improved performance which customers desire.

Acting as a source of professional, technical and functional expertise, supporting the creation of new design proposals and sometimes leading the development and deployment of the selected design to achieve new customer features and business capability as enablers of business strategic development.

We’re looking for someone with:
Essential:

- A passion for understanding detail, how systems work and learning how to challenge proposals to ensure delivery meets our requirements
- Credit Cards and First Vision background knowledge
- The ability to explain the technical to a non-technical audience to ensure understanding and informed decision making, and the ability to shape, challenge and influence a senior audience to ensure solutions are developed in line with business and customer needs
- An Inquisitive nature with a passion for problem solving & analysis - investigating and analysing problems & opportunities and generating solutions.
- Strong quality and service focus
- Experience with Credit Card projects and incident recoveries
- Keenness to learn how to identify and drive technology and process improvements, with an enthusiastic approach to problem solving with the ability to implement effective business solutions
- Good communication skills (oral and written)

- Diagnostic and analytical abilities
- Business area knowledge, to understand the impacts of any change

We work to a hybrid model - a mix of office and home based working. Our office hubs are London, Chester and Cardiff. There is also a requirement to travel to other sites including but not solely Cardiff, Chester, London, Edinburgh. We’re happy to consider agile working requests.
