**The role**:
We are seeking to recruit a motivated Victim Restorative Justice worker to join our creative, dedicated and friendly team on a permanent basis.

The post will focus upon our Cheshire West & Chester Cohort, with an established base being Municipal Buildings Widnes but hybrid and flexible working including from home and other bases across Cheshire is encouraged.

The role offers and maintains contact with harmed persons known to the YJS, acknowledging the impact of their experience and where appropriate facilitating their participation in restorative processes with young people.

The post holder will spend a proportion of their working week supporting young people to undertake individual and community reparation, direct and indirect mediation, and restorative conferences at all points in the Youth Justice system.

They will be required to contribute to the assessment of risk and vulnerability for all individuals, ensuring that the voice of people harmed by crime are heard and their thoughts and feelings are shared in a safe manner.

The role requires the ability to produce timely high quality reports and evidence any contacts made on case management systems. In addition to this they are required to participate in the court duty and referral order panel rota, with the occasional evening and Saturday working.
