The Takeaway Cashier is responsible for accurately processing customer orders, handling payments, and providing exceptional customer service at all times. The cashier will work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the takeaway.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders, process payments and provide receipts
- Maintain accurate cash drawer and perform daily cash reconciliation
- Prepare and package takeaway orders
- Communicate with kitchen staff regarding any customer requests or special orders
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and notify management of any shortages
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the cash register and surrounding area
- Resolve any customer complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by management

Pay
- Under 18- Starting at £5 p/h, 18+= Pay will increase in line with minimum wage

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: From £7.00 per hour
