Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a kitchen assistant to support our talented culinary team. You will help maintain cleanliness standards and assist the chefs with basic food preparation duties.

**Requirements**:

- No formal qualifications or experience required.
- Reliable self-starter with a positive can-do attitude
- Able to follow instructions accurately.
- Safety-conscious team player
- Comfort working in a warm, fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Physically fit - able to stand, bend, lift moderate loads.

**Responsibilities**:

- Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils thoroughly
- Store deliveries appropriately; label and organize all ingredients.
- Wash, peel, chop fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
- Follow recipes to prepare basic components of dishes.
- Learn correct use of kitchen tools and equipment.
- Assist chefs during busy meal services as required.
- Remove trash, recyclables, and compost cleanly and safely.
- Inform chefs when supplies are low.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
