**Salary**
**The Role**
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, term time, following a shift pattern. Arden House is open between the hours of 7.45am-6pm
The successful applicant will need to have knowledge of the Equality Act 2010, Children & Families Act 2014, the Special Educational Needs and Disability Regulations 2014, The SEND Code of Practice 2015 and the Early Years Foundations Stage Statutory Framework. As SENDCo you are a key member of the nursery team, supporting children with additional needs to have full access to all the learning opportunities they nursery has to offer.
**Key Duties**:
- Setting IEP targets, implementing, recording and monitoring the progress of these
- Be responsible for the day-to-day operation of SEND Policies and coordinating provision across the setting.
- Take necessary steps to safeguard all who access the setting, adhering to the safeguarding policy
- Provide advice for staff and support individual practitioners
- Supporting with the completion of EHCP’s
- Working 1:1
- Liaising with outside agencies.
- Building relationships with the children and their families.
- Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Support daily routines.
- Follow policies and procedures.
- Maintain a high level of supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Keeping up to date with developments with SEND policies and documents
**Requirements**:
- **Qualified Level 3**:
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- **Experience**:
- Prepared to have lots of fun in the work place (and out at company events)
- Work well within a team
- Excellent organisation skills and time-management
