Job Location: Accrington area

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to assist an easygoing, bright and polite 36 year old man affected by a complex physical disability who relies on his wheelchair for his mobility needs.

The position is for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30am - 2:30pm, with the option of an additional 5 hours available at the employer’s discretion. This is an excellent, mother-friendly opportunity that allows a flexible work-life balance with childcare responsibilities while still meeting the needs of the service user.

The following days will be paid leave: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day (should they fall on a usual workable day), in addition to eligible annual leave.

The individual will require support with light household tasks, daily activities, small shop errands, and visits to some fantastic daily outings of his choice. He will need help with all aspects of personal care and will rely on the experience of his carer to provide this.

Applicants must be in excellent health and hold a clean, valid UK driving licence to transport the individual in his well-maintained (manual) adapted vehicle in a care-driven manner covered by the vehicle insurance policy provided.
