As Credit Underwriter for a growing specialist business lending company, you will play a lead role in all credit underwriting activities for business loans including:

- Use your analytical skills to assess potential customers across balance sheet, P&L and cash flow and model future revenues to assess credit worthiness
- Conduct regular credit reviews with existing customers and adjust credit terms (upwards and downwards) as required to manage risk whilst continuing to support their financing needs
- Prepare and maintain high-quality credit reports
- Monitor collection activities and repayment performance
- Help to shape and optimise credit policy for both new and existing credit products

You will have experience underwriting loans and be competent at analysing P&L, balance sheet and cash flows and making recommendations to borrow. This is a visible role in a small yet growing specialist lender with a venture capital owner.

They are based in central London but offer flexible hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office and 2 from home.
