Job description

The School of Applied Sciences is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Crime Scene Investigation for a fixed term period of three years, who can successfully coordinate and deliver modules to undergraduate students from Foundation year to Masters level in crime scene investigation, crime scene management and evidence analysis.

Joining the biological and forensic sciences team, the role would involve teaching and assessment, module leadership duties, engagement in quality review and enhancement processes and ensuring that professional body requirements are met.

By joining a team of highly enthusiastic staff, the role holder would be part of a team leading the education and training of our students in this popular area who are seeking to enter the world of work as forensic scientists or within roles in the criminal justice system.

This position is based at the Pontypridd Campus of the University of South Wales.

This is a full-time fixed term position starting on 1st June 2023 (latest).
