Brownings are one of the largest, TRADE ONLY suppliers of signage and display products within the UK. With in-house production, we can cater for all your bespoke signage needs.

Job Purpose: To manage Brownings Trade counter and assist with enquiries within the sales office. Along with other general day-to-day duties.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To manage Brownings’ Trade counter:
a. Preparing customer orders

b. Dealing with customers face to face

c. Preparing all necessary paperwork required for the sale.

d. Maintaining stock

2. To produce quotes for customers and follow quotes right through to the production stage

a. Responding to enquires in a swift manner.

b. Following up on outstanding enquiries

c. Converting quotes to orders and producing the relevant delivery and production notes

d. Ordering goods required for secured orders.

3. Preparing goods for despatch:
a. Producing labels for customers to identify products on arrival.

b. Creating consignments for products sent on national or dedicated courier.

c. Sending through delivery notifications for products going out “the next day”.

4. To control paperwork going from the Sales office to the Production office and vice versa:
a. Matching goods received paperwork daily

b. Matching works orders from the Production office with the Sales office copies for goods despatched, daily.

5. Assisting the Factory manager and Sales office with tasks as necessary.

6. General administrative tasks (answering the phone, filing, taking payments etc).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From £5.61 per hour
