**Chartered Loss Adjuster - Home Based - ARDDG860231**
With the impending retirement of an existing Chartered Loss Adjuster, Lorega Solutions are seeking a new and experienced Loss Adjuster to join the company. You will be responsible for providing chartered loss adjusting and claims consultancy services to Lorega clients on all new claims from instruction through to settlement.
**What you will do**
Claims
- Receive instructions on individual new claims for Lorega Loss Recovery and Lorega Solutions ATE work and handle each claim through to completion providing all services necessary for each claim to policyholder.
- Meet the Lorega service standards for performance delivery.
- Provide telephone claims assistance as required under desk top advice accounts.
- Provide ad hoc telephone advice to brokers and policyholders as required.
Operations
- Maintain accurate and up to date file records electronically and/or manually as necessary for each individual claims case handled.
- Update claims database reporting requirements of Lorega.
- Handle claims within the CILA Code of Conduct.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for FSA or current equivalent regulatory body in relation to policyholder work undertaken.
- Provide technical advice and assistance as required to claims support staff.
Marketing and PR
- Support sales staff as requested by Operations Director in Loss Recovery and ATE marketing.
- Assist with and attend as required marketing presentations to existing and potential clients.
**What essential experience would make you a success in this role?**
- Previous loss adjusting experience of at least 15 years
- Previous experience in handling Commercial Property Material Damage and Business Interruption claims up to complex level and Domestic claims.
- Claims competency should ideally include Buildings, Fixtures and Fittings, Machinery and Plant, Stock, General Contents, Business Interruption
