Unisus Care is a growing company and seeks suitably experienced care supervisors to support our expansion plans

The supervisor is responsible for managing the staff, processes and comprehend complex operations. Top-notch communication skills are important to be able to clearly communicate expectations with all members of the team. The supervisor will ensure that services are delivered at maximum quality. By giving clear and timely instructions, the supervisor oversees the work of other employees to ensure the successful completion of tasks. The successful supervisor possesses acute problem-solving skills and motivates staff results by communicating job expectations, meticulous planning, monitoring, and appraising. This role is responsible for coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees as well as initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. The supervisor must maintain workflow by monitoring steps of the process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to recruit, interview, select, orient, and train new employees
- Skilled at motivating others to grow and be better, elevating the team
- Quick and appropriate resolution of all challenges, discrepancies or miscommunications
- Dedication to maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
- Ability to effectively communicate at every level within the organization
- A positive and infectious attitude
- Ensures operations of care staff run smoothly.
- Understanding of planning, rostering, management, and safe systems of work practice.
- Manage daily schedules and track the progress of staff visits.
- Preparation and presentation of reports on productivity, staffing, effectiveness, and success

Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of NVQ 3
- Proven experience as a supervisor or similar management role
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office
- Organizational, coaching and leadership abilities
- Communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Manage own time and organisation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.94 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Newcastle upon Tyne: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- providing care: 1 year (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
