The Role:
As the Payroll Specialist, you will support the Payroll team in administering, checking and ensuring legal compliance accurately and on time for UK and European retail payrolls. You will also assist with monthly submissions, audit all Deckers EMEA payrolls and maintain a high level of service to our employees and partners.
Your Impact:
- Process and check UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other European payrolls
- Collate variable date from numerous sources, whilst performing a reasonable check to ensure what is processed is accurate and approved
- Administer monthly, quarterly and annual third party declarations/payments e.g. meal tickets, Garnishee’s, Pension etc.
- Ensure all payroll processes are SOX compliant and are kept up to date with national laws and regulations
- Maintain Sickness (IJSS) declarations and refunds; monthly and quarterly payroll accruals e.g. Bonus, 13th/14th month, Vacation etc.
- Upload monthly money movement/Net payments onto our banking platform
- Work closely with HR to ensure processing accuracy and data integrity

We would Love to Hear from People with:
- Prior experience in payroll, ideally having worked in multinational organisations
- Knowledge in UK payroll and EMEA country legislations
- Additional European language such as German or Dutch is beneficial but not essential
