**Job description**

We are looking for an individual with a proactive attitude towards achieving excellence in quality of our product. The Quality Assurance Inspector will ensure that the company’s product meets all quality standards before it goes to market.

This includes upholding safety standards during production, inspecting the product at every manufacture stage. The Quality Inspector will work to analyse previous quality problems and successes in order to create a more efficient product in the future.

40 hours per week possible overtime

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES **include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs regular manufacturing process audits to insure:

- Procedures are being followed and pre-controls checks are being done properly.
- Observes and asks operators questions pertaining to job functions and checks if compliant to standard protocols.
- Observes operators using equipment to verify that equipment is being operated and maintained according to quality assurance standards.
- Reads processing information such as working instructions, product processing sheets, and specification sheets, to verify records adhere to quality assurance specifications.
- Supports and conducts training associated with quality: practices, requirements, and protocols.
- Designing, reviewing and updating quality control policies and procedures
- Ensuring quality check procedures are followed at every stage of production
- Documenting any quality issues and creating a system for recording such documentation
- Creating procedure checklists and coordinating with other Inspectors
- Training new staff
- Dealing with customer feedback and complaints
- Testing product materials from suppliers
- Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- The ability to analyse the quality of the product
- An understanding of industry safety standards
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations

**Salary**: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
