As a machine operator, you will be responsible for delivering against weekly targets to meet customer requirements. **What you will be doing**:
Working as part of the team, you will contribute to the business objectives of delivering Engines for our customers on time and to a high specification. You will:

- Deliver consistent, high-quality machining across a variety of different aerospace engine components and engine product families.
- Work to Rolls-Royce’s Technical Instructions and program manuals.
- Operate a variety of inspection equipment, including machine probing, micrometers, plug gauges.
- Interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
- Assessment of whether the quality of components produced within the facility meets the required standards.
- Work within a team to effectively resolve quality issues and ensure your work is being completed to plan.

- Completed an advanced level engineering apprenticeship* and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
- Experienced in machining/inspecting Aerospace components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Awareness of health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations in a production setting.
- Ability to operate safely and deal with any discrepancies or issues while following correct procedures.
- Ability to inspect components with a high level of complexity.
