**Job overview**:
Within the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resuscitation Administrator to join an established and dynamic Resuscitation team.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and motivated, and provide general administrative support to the NCA resuscitation team to enable the delivery of an efficient and effective service and to carry out data input activities in relation to training delivered. Computer literacy, good communication and organisational skills are essential.

Your normal place of work will be the Resuscitation Training Department, Dinwoodie Clinical Skills Centre, L Block, Royal Oldham Hospital or such other location within The Northern Care Alliance, where you may reasonably be required to work for the proper performance and exercise of your duties.

**Main duties of the job**:
The post holder will provide general administrative support to the NCA resuscitation team to enable the delivery of an efficient and effective service and to carry out data input activities in relation to training delivered. Duties will include:

- Triaging incoming calls and deal with administrative queries in a timely manner.
- Data input of training delivered on the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) system to maintain accurate records of compliance.
- Work as part of a team and provide cross cover in periods of staff absence.
- Ensure processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner to ensure an efficient and quality service to all users.

- NVQ Level 3 education or equivalent. 2 years’ experience of administering training activities.

**Desirable criteria**:

- NVQ 3 Business Administration
- IT related Qualification or experience
- NVQ 2 Clerical Qualification
- Customer care NVQ level 1 or 2

**Knowledge & Skills**:
**Essential criteria**:

- IT Literate
- Broad knowledge of admin proceedures
- excellent verbal and written communication
- ability to promote professional image
- ability to time manage and manage own workload
- ability to demonstrate good customer care skills
- confident in dealing with people at all levels
- good communication skills
- Good general education including numeracy and literacy

**Desirable criteria**:

- Knowledge of NHS finance systems and processes
- Ability to convey sensitive information pertaining to examination results.
- Knowledge of ESR

**Experience**:

- 5years administrative experience
