**Purchasing Administrator - 27K - Market Deeping**

Are you a highly numerate individual with a desire to grow as part of established Purchasing team?

We have a new opportunity to join a well-established team based in Market Deeping. The client provides solutions for modifying and fitting aftermarket additions to commercial vehicles. This role would suit someone who is experienced within procurement whohas a deep knowledge of the supply chain process. In addition, the role will in incorporate administrative duties relating to the planning and shipping of final products to customers. To be considered you must have comparable experience in an accounting adminenvironment, basic book-keeping skills and knowledge of VAT procedures.

**Duties**
- Strong team player with the ability to work under their own initiative and the ability to prioritise
- Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements such as vehicle movements
- Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
- Administration of purchasing documentation - checking supplier acknowledgements etc.
- Progressing orders with suppliers
- Assist the Procurement team in negotiating best prices and deals for supply of products or services
- Follow up purchasing/service requests from other departments and deal with emergency requirements as needs arise
- Raising of purchase orders including emergency PO’s
- Liaise with suppliers ensuring any operational or service issues (regarding products or suppliers) are resolved in a timely manner
- Supplier relationship management
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure deliveries are on time and cost
- Assist in maintaining accurate stock control information
- Expedite and challenge any overdue purchase orders
- Materials and price updates, vendor data base maintenance and producing reports
- Invoice reconciliation
- Supplier meetings, data preparation and overall support
- Analysing data using excel, updating system information maintaining accurate records
