**Project Lead**:

- Location: Warwick, GB, CV34 6DA- Division: Commercial Development- Job Type:
- Requisition Number: 52244- Department: National Grid Ventures- Job Function: Business Change and Project Management**About the role**:
National Grid Interconnectors is at the heart of UK’s transition to our net zero energy future, operating a number of HVDC interconnectors that connect the UK’s energy system to some of our closest neighbours, allowing energy to be imported to and exported from the UK. As well as already owning a portfolio of HVDC Interconnectors, we’re working on developing new projects to ensure that we are able to meet the UK’s future demands for greener energy solutions.

As a Project Lead, within the Commercial, Customer & Regulations (CCR) team, you'll ensure multiple, concurrent, climate-friendly energy projects are delivered to time, cost and quality. This will involve defining project scope, goals and deliverables in line with agreed objectives and brief; working in liaison with stakeholders to develop requirements which are realistic and achievable; preparing and managing detailed project plans which can support project delivery and communication with stakeholders. Proactive management, forward planning and strong stakeholder management are essential for this role.

National Grid has six subsea interconnectors in operation, connecting Great Britain’s electricity network to Belgium, Denmark, France, the Netherlands and Norway. Together these projects have a capacity of 7.8GW - that’s enough electricity to power about 8 million homes in the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a part in the UK’s energy transition.

This is a hybrid position with your place of work being Warwick, and as such you would be required to be in the office when the Business and activities deem it necessary. You will also have access to a number of flexible benefits such as a share incentive plan, salary sacrifice car and technology schemes, support via employee assistance lines and matched charity giving to name a few.
