Payroll Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll administrator to join an established and expanding business in the Falmouth area.

This role is ideally being offered on a full time basis, but they would consider part time hours.

My client can also offer hybrid working if you are not able to commute to Falmouth on a daily basis, however you will need to be local to Cornwall and be free for immediate work.

Working hours Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 with an hour’s lunch - 37.5 hours per week, this role is paying between £23,000- £25,000 pro rata depending on experience.

**Key Duties to include**:

- Collect and process information from clients.
- Produce reports, payslips etc. as required using Sage Bureau Software.
- Submit all returns to HMRC as required.
- Reconcile all liabilities due for the period.
- Update internal systems as necessary

**Requirements**:

- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Attention to detail, essential
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Knowledge of basic payroll procedures including SSP, SMP, SPP
- Attachment of Earnings and Student loans.
- Use of Sage payroll an advantage but not essential.
- Knowledge of Auto Enrolment an advantage, but not essential
